SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Local Community
Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to the community.
SASSA will probably be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency reported it really is alarmed concerning the large amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The company position designed for intervention activities a superior inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it tough to the Workplace to attend to SRD all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to empower the servicing of all prospects and increase entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
